On Friday the 13th, I got working on a short story (it was supposed to be 1500ish words). I wanted to pay homage to the slasher genre that is so closely affiliated with the date. The story took on a life of its own and ended up just under 10,000 words. Still a short story, but not what I originally intended. I am torn over an ending for it.
I’m splitting this one up into roughly 2,000 word chapters (should be about 5 posts/chapters)
